Amazon Mexico launch: results at a glance

A brand already selling on Amazon US moved from remote fulfillment to a local operation in Mexico. The work combined local business setup, in-country inventory, Spanish listing localization and a rebuilt PPC strategy.

  • Actual first-five-month results: MXN 1.1 million in revenue and 1,350 units sold on Amazon Mexico.
  • Historical baseline: MXN 147,000 in the prior full year under remote fulfillment. These are different-length periods, not a like-for-like annual comparison.
  • Forecast, not an achieved result: MXN 2.5 million and 17x growth were first-year projections.

The Challenge

Our client is a proven brand — seven figures on Amazon US — but their Mexico presence was an afterthought. Selling via remote fulfillment, they closed their best year in Mexico at MXN 147,000 (roughly USD 8,000). The infrastructure wasn’t there, the listings weren’t localized, and the advertising was untouched. The opportunity was obvious; the execution required building from the ground up.

The Approach

We didn’t just optimize — we built a real business. That meant registering the brand as a local entity, opening a Mexican bank account, and shipping inventory in-country so they could compete on equal footing. Then we rebuilt their listings from scratch for Mexican shoppers and restructured their entire PPC strategy for the local market. Every move was designed to make Mexico a permanent, scalable revenue stream — not a side experiment.

  • Local Entity & Banking — We registered the client in Mexico and opened a local bank account, laying the legal and financial foundation for sustainable in-country operations.
  • In-Country Inventory & Fulfillment — We coordinated the first shipment of goods into Mexico so client could fulfill locally — unlocking better delivery speeds and Buy Box eligibility.
  • Listing Localization — We redesigned every listing with Mexican shoppers in mind — language, cultural context, and search behavior — so the brand could actually convert local traffic.
  • PPC Restructure for Mexico — We rebuilt their advertising from zero using Mexican keyword data and audience insights, ensuring every peso spent was working toward profitable growth.

The Results

We launched in February, and hit MXN 1.1M (USD 62,000) and 1,350 units sold in their first five months — compared to MXN 147,000 for all of last year on remote fulfillment. We project MXN 2.5M in year one: a 17x increase year-over-year. With the entity live and the market validated, expansion to Mercado Libre and Walmart México is already on the roadmap.
